Information you provide directly. Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, account credentials, and the medical records and health information you choose to upload to the Service.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Medical records and related health information you provide are treated with a high level of care and handled in accordance with applicable law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where and to the extent it applies to VYTL's handling of that information.

To help organize and structure the records you upload, the Service uses automated tools and artificial-intelligence systems, including third-party AI services, to read, classify, and extract information from your documents (for example, identifying medications, lab values, diagnoses, and dates). Where these tools are provided by third parties, those providers act as our service providers under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and, where applicable, under a business associate agreement.
Automated extraction may contain errors. AI-generated and automatically extracted information is provided to assist you and is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. You are responsible for reviewing extracted information against your original records, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for the original documents or for professional medical advice. Additional terms governing your use of these features appear in our Terms of Service.
We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, authentication requirements, and audit logging. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
In the event of a breach of unsecured personal or health information affecting you, we will notify you and, where required, applicable authorities, in accordance with applicable law and within the timeframes those laws require.
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@vytl.io. Upon account deletion, we will delete your information as described in Section 8, except where retention is required by law. Depending on your state or country of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability; to exercise those rights, contact us at privacy@vytl.io.
We retain your information while your account remains active. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal information and uploaded records, including information derived from them, within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.
The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
